(Nauvoo Polygamy–1842)
The second year of Nauvoo polygamy saw an expansion of plural marriage as three other men (Heber C. Kimball, Brigham Young, and Vinson Knight) were each sealed to one polygamous wife. The historical record indicates that Joseph Smith had yet to inform his wife Emma Hale Smith regarding his polygamous marriages, which occurred by May of 1843.
